The Xperimenta team is proud and excited to present Piano FZ, the first release of the brand new Xperimenta PF2 Series: a unique collection of iconic pianos that firmly represent the instrument’s tradition.
Piano F is a beautifully handmade italian Gran Coda of 284cm , carefully and deeply sampled by our engineers in an unforgettable one-week session at Rocchi Studios in Rome. Our mission was to respectfully represent its exceptional power, wide dynamic range, magnificent spectral balance and its clear and fascinating harmonic richness and depth.
Piano FZ is not only a versatile and iconic piano. In fact, it comes with 30 Creative Layers made from analog vintage synthesizers, rare instruments, and felt noises that can be mixed with the Piano F allowing the user to build his own unique instruments.

THE PIANO
We sampled one of the best pianos in the world, an handcrafted Italian Gran Coda,using the most advanced sampling techniques.
Piano F comes with 24 Dynamic Layers handly calibrated, real sympathetic resonance samples, overtones sampled for each interval, and detailed noises such as hammers and pedal. The library was recorded at the Rocchi Studios in Rome, at 96khz, using only top-end gear, including vintage tube and ribbon microphones for a deep and warm sound.
The library provides four microphone settings: CLOSE, MIDDLE, ROOM, MIX.
